Please do not send passwords, access codes or other sensitive system credentials by ordinary email unless we have agreed a secure method for providing them.

We normally receive personal information directly from you when you:

• Discuss a proposed installation
• Provide information needed to arrange a site visit
• Enter into an agreement with us

We may also receive limited information from another member of your household, a property representative, supplier, subcontractor or professional adviser where this is necessary for an enquiry or agreed project.

We do not currently use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

5. Marketing communications

We will not add you to a general marketing mailing list merely because you contacted us about an enquiry.

Where we introduce email marketing in the future, we will provide appropriate information and any consent or opt-out choices required by law. You will be able to ask us to stop sending marketing communications at any time.

We do not sell personal information.

Where necessary, information may be shared with trusted organisations that help us operate the business or provide an agreed service, such as:

• Customer, installation and contract records: normally retained for up to 7 years after completion or the end of the customer relationship.
• Financial and tax records: retained for the period required by applicable law.
• Technical records: retained where reasonably necessary to support, maintain or evidence an installed system.

Records may be kept for longer where necessary to resolve a dispute, comply with a legal requirement or establish or defend a legal claim.

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure.

These measures may include:

No internet or email system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Customers should avoid sending sensitive passwords or access credentials through ordinary email.
